Getting a tattoo in summer

Before getting a tattoo during summer, keep the following in mind:

Pros:

  • Lighter clothing.

  • Healing is faster when the tattoo can be aired out.

  • If you have a second skin patch that is resistant to water, you can still go to the pool or beach.

Cons:

  • Avoid direct sun for at least two weeks. Use SPF +50.

  • Avoid pools, lakes or the sea during the first two weeks.

Cancellations

To postpone, change or cancel your appointment, you must notify us at least ten days in advance. Otherwise, desposit will not be refundable.

  • Available designs: the deposit will be refunded or used as deposit for another design within the cancellation time.

  • Commissions: the deposit is non-refundable.

In order to secure an appointment and reserve a design, a deposit is required. This will go towards the total price of the tattoo.

In regards to commissions: small changes are allowed. If you want to make major changes, it will be considered as a new design and you will have to pay another deposit.

Once the tattoo has completely healed ––after one or two months ––you can send a picture to assess whether retouching is necessary. Keep in mind that small imperfections are normal since it is a handmade process and the skin is a living organ that has different ways of healing depending on the person.

The cost varies depending on how involved the revision process requires. In the case of tattoos on fingers, hands or ears, a second session is usually needed after the tattoo has completely healed.
